Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. is seeking a Senior Show Set Designer III with 5-8 years of Creative Development experience to be located in Orlando, FL or Los Angeles, CA.

The role focuses on immersive environmental design, spatial storytelling, and coordination with architectural and engineering teams. The position is full-time, on-site with co-location at the client site as needed, reporting to the Vice President of Creative Development.

Qualifications

5-8 years of relevant Creative Development experience.
Portfolio showcasing design ability, visual storytelling, and spatial composition.
Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental storytelling, design, and spatial layout tasks.
Lead defined scopes, mentor junior staff, and contribute to immersive environmental designs.
Translate creative concepts into physical layouts and scenic design solutions.
Design and support development of queue environments, ride scenes, and feature elements.
Coordinate materials, lighting intent, and atmospheric details with teams.
Assist in coordination with vendors and show system partners.
