Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. seeks a Senior Show Set Designer III in Orlando or Los Angeles to lead immersive environmental design for themed environments. The role focuses on narrative-driven spaces, coordination with architects and engineers, and production documentation.

Requires 5–8 years in design, proficiency with Rhino, Revit, Lumion, and Adobe suite, and the ability to mentor staff. On-site at either Orlando or LA offices with client co-location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in creative development and show set design.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design or architecture.
• Proficiency with Rhino, Revit, Lumion and Adobe suite required.
• Experience coordinating with architectural and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental storytelling and spatial layout for immersive environments.
• Develop scenic concepts and coordinate with clients and vendors.
• Translate concepts into buildable design solutions and drawings.
• Create queue environments, ride scenes, and feature elements.
• Oversee design documentation, plans, elevations, and sections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration.
