Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of graphic design experience; proven ability in static and motion graphics.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about public media, broadcasting, digital platforms, and storytelling.
• Strong creative judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to continually improve craft and bring fresh ideas to work.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to take feedback.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to create logos, visual identities for programs, and campaigns; produce print and digital materials.
• Manage design process from concept to deliverables with stakeholder feedback.
• Work with web/UX and app teams to embed assets into landing pages and digital experiences.
• Translate concepts into visuals that support WQED’s evolving role as a community resource.
• Ensure assets align with brand guidelines across platforms and evolve branding over time.
• Contribute ideas in marketing strategy sessions to shape visual direction from the start.
