Job Description

The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to communicate their ideas effectively to both internal and external clients. Flexibility to client demands, the ability to work well under pressure, and multi-tasking skills are required.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems.
2. Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces related to graphic design.
3. Prepare sketches or layouts to present to clients.
4. Create charts and graphs from data provided.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in design and/or certification in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience required.
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
• Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Experience with creating layouts and generating images using computer software.
• Proficiency with Adobe publishing and graphic software.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 5-7 years overall in the field.
• Degrees/certifications: Associate's degree in design and/or certification required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with only freelance experience on the side are not eligible.
• Preferred skills: Deck creation, infographics, chart and brand design, PowerPoint skills.
• Performance Indicators: Quality of work, storytelling ability, and team feedback.

Additional Skills:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience with Figma.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with PowerPoint/Deck creation.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Typical Day in the Role:

• Purpose of the Team: Focused on AI monetization and internal communications.
• Key projects: Creating charts, graphics, and PowerPoint presentations for senior-level requests.
• Daily tasks: 25% meetings, 25% working on edits, 50% storytelling and deck creation.
