Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a Graphic Designer for our Big Sky Resort marketing team. You will develop marketing creative and support on-the-ground design functions across the resort, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive excitement for one of North America's iconic destinations.

You will manage multiple projects, design signage and materials, and create assets for email, social, website, PR, sales and paid media. A passion for skiing and outdoors is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Figma; able to learn new tools as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize and collaborate across teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects for internal departments (Food & Beverage, Lodging, Retail, Mountain Sports, Mountain Services, Mountain Operations, HR).
• Lead design and execution of resort signage and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute seasonal campaigns.
• Design assets for email, social, website, PR, sales and paid media.
• Manage print vendor relationships and purchase orders.
• Support marketing team with community events.
• Manage external design partner relationships as needed.

Overview

The Graphic Designer plays a key role on the Big Sky Resort marketing team, supporting the development of marketing creative and facilitating on-the-ground design functions across the resort. In partnership with the wider marketing function and team, the Graphic Designer role will act as a critical collaborator in driving the excitement and energy of one of Norh Americ a’s most iconic mountain destinations.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects for internal departments, including Food and Beverage, Lodging, Retail, Mountain Sports, Mountain Services, Mountain Operations, and Human Resources
• Lead the design and execution of resort signage and other marketing materials
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns
• Design assets for marketing channels, including email, social media, website, public relations, sales, and paid media
• Manage print vendor relationships, including order placement and purchase order management
• Support the marketing team with community events
• Manage external design partner relationships as needed

Qualifications

Note: Applicants must be prepared to submit a design portfolio for review prior to interview.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Figma, with the ability to learn new tools as needed
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across teams and with external partners
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• A positive, can-do attitude with a self-starting and dependable work ethic
• Passion for skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors preferred
