Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Graphic Designer in Atlanta, GA to develop graphic materials for presentations and various print and digital marketing channels. You will create concepts, layouts, and templates, while ensuring brand guidelines and deadlines are met across multiple projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, familiarity with PowerPoint, and an interest in video/editing. Collaboration with marketing teams is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred; marketing/advertising considered with design experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Interest in video editing (Premiere Pro/After Effects) and photography is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of print and web standards.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience designing across marketing channels following brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative graphic materials for presentations and marketing channels.

  • Maintain versioning and quality control while integrating feedback.
  • Edit content for spelling/grammar and gain final approvals.

Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will, responsible for developing create graphic materials for presentations as well as various print and digital marketing channels.

Responsibilities
  • Thinking creatively and develop new concepts and designs for various marketing channels (including, but not limited to document templates, sell sheets, sales and marketing PowerPoints, ads, web banners, infographics, social media, email campaigns, printable collateral, etc.)
  • Preparing design plan, concept and layout with limited visual direction in accordance with corporate brand guidelines
  • Maintaining and following best practices for versioning and quality control by anticipating feedback and proactively suggesting and implementing changes
  • Amending design to internal / manager feedback to gain full approval
  • Establishing schedules and methods to guarantee timely delivery of marketing content
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Making edits to content for any obvious spelling and grammar errors
  • Researching and developing new design styles and techniques
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferable; Degree in marketing or advertising considered with previous graphic design experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe CC, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Interest in and/or experience in video editing (Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects) and/or photography a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office/Office 365 apps; especially PowerPoint
  • Must have working knowledge of print and web standards
  • A passion for creating stunning visuals that meet brand standards
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, concept/visual ability and originality
  • Ability to work under pressure and under short deadlines, with strong follow through
  • Hands-on experience designing across marketing channels and adhering to brand style guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively with high levels of autonomy and ambiguity
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects - understanding of past and current design trends
