Job summary

Designer Jobs is seeking an Instructional Lab Coordinator for Graphic Design in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee lab operations, prepare facilities for classes, and provide technical support for Adobe Creative Cloud, printers, scanners, and production equipment.

Required two years of graphic design experience plus an associate degree; a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field is preferred. Onsite position with opportunities to engage in program events and student portfolios.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Graphic Design or closely related field with two years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field required.
• Experience supporting instructional technology or educational laboratories preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and troubleshooting production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab operations and address issues with Department Chair/Associate Dean.
• Maintain safe operating procedures for equipment and studio spaces.
• Monitor supplies, manage budgets, and keep inventory up to date.
• SupportGraphic Design program events and recruit activities.
• Prepare facilities for classes and ensure instructional resources are ready.
• Provide technical support for software, hardware, printers, scanners, and production equipment.
