Qualifications

• Associate degree in Graphic Design or closely related field with two years of professional experience in graphic design, digital media, print production, creative technologies, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversees lab operations and informs chair/associate dean of potential challenges.
• Maintains safe operating procedures for instructional equipment and spaces.
• Monitors and initiates orders; manages inventory and budgets for supplies.
• Supports Graphic Design program events and student initiatives.
• Researches emerging technologies and advises on equipment needs.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and coordinates repairs or disposal.
• Prepares facilities for classes and ensures resources are available for instruction.
• Provides technical support to faculty and students with software, hardware, printers, scanners, and photography equipment.
• Assists students during lab hours with operation, file prep, and production workflows.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance for computers, printers, plotters, and other tech.
• Collaborates with faculty to improve instructional resources and workflows.
