Job summary

FASTSIGNS is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team in creating graphics for signage, vehicle, window, and wall graphics, plus displays and logos. You will edit designs from customer files and ensure production-ready outputs.

You will handle layout decisions, verify accuracy, manage logo assets, and oversee graphics through the production cycle using wide format printers and related equipment. Strong Illustrator skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prioritize multiple graphics projects and manage time effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously in a fast-paced print/design environment.
• Comfort working under pressure to meet tight production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics for a wide range of products: signage, vehicle/window/wall graphics, tradeshow displays, logos, and more.
• Edit or complete designs from customer drawings, files, or outputs provided for production.
• Determine layout: size, type, space, and arrangement based on space and production needs.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy and ensure correct materials and output settings.
• Maintain customer logo library and convert graphics files as needed.
• See graphics through production using wide format printers, laminators, plotters, routers, etc.
• Prepare for installation of graphics as needed.
• Showcase final products in retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, hospitals, events, and more.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will

• Create graphics for a wide range of products - signage, vehicle/window/wall/floor graphics, tradeshow displays, routed dimensional letters/logos, etc.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
• See the graphics through the production cycle using wide format printers, laminator, plotter, router, etc.
• Prepare for and install graphics as needed
• See the products you help design & produce displayed in retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, hospitals, at events, and more!

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
