FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team. You will craft graphics for signage, vehicle, wall, and display applications and refine designs from customer files for production.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of graphic design experience, is proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and can prioritize, multi-task, and work autonomously under deadlines. Compensation is hourly with opportunities for bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Determine layout, type, and spacing to fit space and production needs.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy and proper materials.
• Maintain and convert graphics in the logo library.
• Oversee production using wide-format printers and related equipment.
• Prepare for installation of graphics when needed.
• Showcase final products in retail locations and events.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will

• Create graphics for a wide range of products - signage, vehicle/window/wall/floor graphics, tradeshow displays, routed dimensional letters/logos, etc.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
• See the graphics through the production cycle using wide format printers, laminator, plotter, router, etc.
• Prepare for and install graphics as needed
• See the products you help design & produce displayed in retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, hospitals, at events, and more!

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
