Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output for signs and displays.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of graphic design experience, is proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and can prioritize tasks, multi-task, and work autonomously. Familiarity with large format printers is a plus and the role offers ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output
• Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
• Ability to run large format printers and learn basic production techniques

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• 1-2 years of graphic design experience
• 1-2 years of sign shop experience preferred but not required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
• Determine the best output method based on the customer’s needs
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to work with light power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
