Job summary

FASTSIGNS #41101 is hiring a Full-time Graphic Designer to join our team in Sandy Springs. You will create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output, and prepare designs for printing and mounting on substrates.

You will modify customer-provided designs and ensure accuracy and production readiness. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of graphic design experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Determine best output method based on the customer’s needs.
• Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more).
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based on space and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output and ensure correct material is used and device settings are accurate.
• Maintain customer logo library and convert graphic files.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer Will

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and applied
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
• Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files
