Bishop State Community College invites applications for a Laboratory Assistant. Under the supervision of assigned instructors, the role focuses on facilitating student learning in the laboratory setting and assisting with demonstrations, equipment setup, and safety standards.
The position may involve performing various duties as directed by the Division Chair or Dean. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or related experience and basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
Reporting Authority: Assigned Instructor and/or Division Chair
General Function: The primary responsibility of the laboratory assistant as directed by the instructor is to facilitate student learning in the laboratory setting. The Laboratory Assistant will work under the direction of one or more instructors.
