Job summary

Qualifications

  • Authorize project expenditures and ensure appropriate use of funds in conjunction with approved budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President.

General Function:

The Title III Coordinator monitors the programmatic and fiscal activities of the Title Ill grants.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise the full‑time Title Ill staff.
  • Develop and manage the program budget in accordance with grant, federal, state and College regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal regulations, policies, and procedures governing the administration of this program.
  • Formulate recommendations regarding institutionalization of each Title Ill program activity.
  • Collect objective data as to the fulfillment of activity objectives and communicate assessment to the College's key decision makers.
  • Serve as the chief liaison with the Department of Education Title Ill Program Office regarding all program activities.
  • Ensure that program data and records are maintained securely.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Serve on College committees and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Authorizes project expenditures and ensures appropriate use of funds in conjunction with approved budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
Salary: ACCS Salary Schedule- C3-03

Continued employment is contingent upon funding from the grant and is on a non‑tenured track.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of directly related experience in education, academic administration, workforce development, or grants management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in working with Federal programs.
  • Supervisory experience
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. Learned physical skill is required for keyboarding. Frequent walking, standing, or sitting may be required. Working hours may vary and occasional evening or weekend work is required. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job satisfactorily.
