Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a Consulting Engineer to drive graph-powered solutions for enterprise customers, from inception to rollout. You will design graph data models, provide hands-on guidance, and lead technical engagements with customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master is a plus.
• 3+ years designing and developing enterprise-class applications.
• Strong data modelling experience across relational, NoSQL or graph databases.
• Experience designing scalable software architectures in modern environments.
• Hands-on data engineering for search, analytics or AI-driven apps.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or C#.
• Experience deploying on Linux, and using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Excellent communication and independent work capability.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations from design to production rollout.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert on consulting engagements.
• Design graph data models to represent complex relationships.
• Architect and build solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support AI architectures by structuring graph data for advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with customer teams to integrate Neo4j into modern frameworks.
• Guide customers on best practices for data engineering and ingestion patterns.
• Develop solution architectures addressing technical project requirements.
• Translate complex concepts into clear guidance for engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, SOWs and technical recommendations; train customer teams.
• Work with sales, engineering and support to ensure successful outcomes.
• Travel as needed.
