  2. Monitor grant deadlines and requirements to ensure timely submission of proposals.
  3. Write clear, compelling, and well-researched grant proposals that align with MTM’s goals and funding priorities.
  4. Develop and submit grant applications, including narratives, budgets, and other required documentation.
  5. Ensure each grant proposal is tailored to the specific requirements of the funding organization.
  6. Collaborate with program directors and other staff members to gather necessary information for grant applications.
  7. Work with the Founder to refine grant strategies and identify areas for growth in funding.
  8. Assist with other fundraising efforts as needed, including donor proposals, sponsorships, and campaigns.
  9. Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant writing and nonprofit fundraising.
Time Commitment:

This is a VOLUNTEER position with flexible hours. We anticipate a commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week. Work can be done remotely, but occasional team events may require in-person participation.

Qualifications:

  2. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, persuasive, and engaging manner.
  3. Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  4. Familiarity with grant databases, funding platforms, and nonprofit fundraising (helpful, but not required).
  5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
