Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking a unit supervisor to manage grant budgets and oversee both pre-award and post-award activities. You will coordinate with state/federal agencies and ensure accurate documentation while leading a team.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of supervisory experience; financial or accounting background is a plus. This full-time position offers comprehensive TTUHSC benefits and a typical day schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
• Preferred: financial/accounting background.

Responsibilities

• Budget and financial management: Create, review, and manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and process payments according to TTUHSC policies.
• Pre-award & post-award administration: Research funding opportunities, assist in drafting proposals and applications, and manage post-award reporting and audits.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate documentation for grant-funded personnel, time-and-effort certifications, inventory, and milestones.
• Stakeholder communication: Liaise between the organization and state/federal agencies; provide training and technical assistance to staff and partners.
