Job summary

Restoring Lands is seeking a Grants Manager to write and coordinate private and government grants, collaborating with program, administrative, and development teams. You will handle proposals, reports, and donor communications, reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer.

The role anchors the grants program and may be full-time or adjustable part-time for the right experience. The position focuses on growing grant support, managing end-to-end grant processes, and building strong relationships

Qualifications

• Four+ years of professional grant writing experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding sources to meet fundraising priorities.
• Lead collaboration with staff to articulate program activities, metrics, outcomes and impact for grant submissions.
• Manage the grant application and reporting process for all grants.
• Ensure grant deadlines are updated and manage an annual grants calendar.
• Track progress toward grant funding goals.
• Update CRM records with contact and activity details.
• Coordinate grant program meetings with planning deadlines.
• Lead prospect strategy meetings with leadership.
• Identify new local and national grant opportunities.
• Serve as or support relationship manager for grant funders.
