The Grants Manager writes and coordinates private and government grants; initiates discussion and decision making with program, administrative, and development team members; seeks data and information to inform reporting; establishes and stewards relationships with foundation staff; writes grant proposals and reports; and researches new funding sources. This role is the main point of contact for the organization's grant program and reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Success in this position will be achieved by growing private and government grant support, and the management of the full life cycle of a grant is executed independently from the Chief Philanthropy Officer. The grants manager will support the grant management process from proposal development to grant reporting and closeout including creating a project management timeline and process to gather information from the team in a timely manner, and requirements are completed at a high degree of self-sufficiency and excellence. This position is anticipated to be full-time; however, we are open to someone interested in working less than full‑time with the right level of previous experience.
