The Turtle Survival Alliance, based in Charleston, SC, seeks a Grants Manager to build and manage an institutional funding pipeline from national and international sources. You will compile proposals, track grants, and ensure timely deliverables in collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and program teams.

This role requires strong research, budgeting, and project-management skills, plus experience with donor relations and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit administration, grant writing, or fundraising.
• Minimum 3 years of grant writing and management experience with successful institutional funding.
• Experience developing complex proposals, multi-year budgets, measurable outcomes, and funder reports.
• Experience with international conservation or international nonprofit work preferred.
• Ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities without sacrificing quality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and effective collaboration in a team.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a multi-year funding pipeline and grants calendar aligned with TSA priorities.
• Identify funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, corporate and other funders.
• Lead proposal development and submission, including budgeting and timelines in Salesforce.
• Ensure grant compliance, reporting, and delivery of required materials to funders.
• Prepare progress reports and program updates showcasing outcomes and impact.
• Maintain grant files and documentation; coordinate extensions and modifications as needed.
