Job summary

Turtle Survival Alliance is seeking a Grants Manager to join the Development Team in Charleston, SC. You will establish and manage a pipeline of private and public funding opportunities, lead proposal development, and coordinate reporting and deliverables to funders and partners.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will collaborate with program staff, Finance, and conservation partners to ensure compliant, timely grants management and strong institutional relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in nonprofit administration, grant writing/management, or fundraising.
• 3+ years of experience in grant writing and management, including success developing and securing institutional funding.
• Experience developing complex proposals, multi-year budgets, measurable outcomes, and funder reports.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate to expert Microsoft Office skills; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and update a multi-year funding opportunity pipeline and grants production, submission, and reporting schedule.
• Identify funding opportunities with foundations, governmental agencies, corporate, and other institutional funders.
• Lead proposal development and submission, organize materials, and track submissions in Salesforce.
• Coordinate with program and Finance staff to ensure budgets, narratives, and deliverables are accurate and approved.
• Maintain grant/contract files and ensure timely, compliant reporting to funders.
• Draft progress reports and program updates highlighting achievements and outcomes.
