Grants Strategist: Drive Funding for Impact

Job summary

PreventEd seeks a Grants Strategist to develop and manage our grant funding strategy, supporting organizational sustainability, program growth, and mission-driven work.

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, you will research funding opportunities, craft compelling proposals, manage grants through the full cycle, coordinate budgets and reporting, and build strong funder relationships to advance PreventEd's impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, nonprofit management, public health, or related field OR 5+ years in grant writing/management.
• Experience managing grants from application through reporting and closeout.
• Experience with grant databases/CRM or grant tracking software (Donor Perfect preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual grant strategy aligned with PreventEd’s priorities and funding needs.
• Identify foundation, corporate, government, and other grant opportunities.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, LOIs, renewals, and reports.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather outcomes and impact stories for proposals and reports.
• Partner with Finance to develop grant budgets, narratives, and financial reports.
