Job summary

The University of New Orleans seeks a skilled financial professional to support Revenue & Accounting and Grants Management for BAFO. You will lead bank reconciliations, perform forecasting, and develop financial dashboards while ensuring compliance with policies and internal controls.

Grant accounting and reporting are key responsibilities. Requires 3+ years in accounting/finance or an equivalent combination, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in accounting, finance, grants management, or financial operations.
• Minimum 1 year professional experience performing account reconciliations, financial analysis, or financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up.
• Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead bank reconciliations and deposit reconciliations.
• Perform revenue classifications and balance activities.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports.
• Support grant lifecycle accounting and monitoring.
• Assist with internal/external audits and controls.
