The position leads grant-seeking activities, writes and edits proposals, manages budgets, monitors expenditures, and trains staff on compliance, reporting to the Director of Resource Development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; 3–5 years of related experience such as proposal writing, grant administration and budgeting.
• Proven success in grant proposal writing.
• Knowledge of grant funding operations; experience with grant budgets.
• Experience in education administration and grant program management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop program concepts for external funding and prepare concept papers.
• Research and report on potential funding sources to support college priorities.
• Write and edit grant proposals and budgets for submission.
• Monitor grant expenditures and prepare status reports.
• Provide grant compliance training to the college community.
• Supervise coordinators and coordinate with grant managers.
• Represent the office at meetings and participate in division initiatives.
