Job summary

Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in Palm Springs, CA seeks a Grants Program Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of the Grants Department. You will coordinate grant activities across tribal departments, support application development, and maintain grant tracking systems to ensure smooth communication with project managers.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with tribal staff at all levels.
• Experience with grants management software, project tracking tools, or database systems.
• Experience in tribal government, public sector, or nonprofit organizations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail in data management, file organization, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant-related activities across tribal departments, acting as primary point of contact for project managers on active awards.
• Maintain and update the grant tracking system (Euna Grants platform) with awards, deadlines, contacts, and status.
• Assist in researching funding opportunities and maintaining a pipeline of prospective grant sources.
• Prepare internal grant status updates, reminders, and award notifications to relevant departments.
• Ensure organized digital and physical grant files in accordance with retention requirements.
• Assist in training staff on the Euna Grants platform and best practices in grant management.
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Grants Management.
