The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is seeking a Grants Administrative Analyst to support financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the Grants Department in Palm Springs, CA. The role bridges Grants and Accounting to ensure accurate, reconciled grant data and IDC recovery support.

Ideal candidates will have foundational accounting knowledge, 2+ years in financial analysis or grants management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and grants platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum two years of experience in financial analysis, accounting support, grants financial management, or related field.
• Working knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200 cost principles and federal grant requirements preferred.
• Experience with fund accounting software; familiarity with Abila MIP or similar systems a plus.
• Strong analytical and data management skills; ability to reconcile financial records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel.
• Experience in tribal government, public sector, or nonprofit grant-funded environments preferred.
• High degree of accuracy and integrity in financial record-keeping and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile grant award accounts and allocate expenditures per budgets and 2 CFR Part 200 requirements.
• Process Abila financial system entries for grant transactions (budgets, IDC allocations, expenditures).
• Coordinate with Accounting to reconcile accounts and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Support cost recovery tracking and allocation reports.
• Generate and distribute monthly grant reports; flag variances or compliance concerns.
