Job summary

State of Maryland's Department of Health Behavioral Health Administration seeks an Administrator I to assist with the daily operations of the Division of Urgent and Acute Care in Catonsville, MD. This role develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations, including overseeing more than $80 million in grants to Local Authorities.

The incumbent supports program and grant management, data reporting, and external communications, while assisting the Division Director

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduation or equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Four years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Notes: Substitution options for college credit hours or degrees are allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of the Division of Urgent and Acute Care.
• Develop and implement approved BHA and Division policies and procedures.
• Oversee more than $80 million in grants annually to Local Authorities.
• Support program and grant management and oversight; federal and state data reporting; communications with Local Authorities.
• Respond to internal and external requests for program information, data, and IQ responses.
• Assist the Division Director with special projects, procurements, research, and reports.
