The Administrator I position assists with the daily operations of the Division of Urgent and Acute Care within the Maryland Department of Health Behavioral Health Administration. This position develops and implements approved BHA and Division policies and procedures to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of Division operations, which includes overseeing more than $80 million in grants annually to Local Authorities. The position supports program and grant management and oversight; federal and state data reporting; communication with Local Authorities; and responding to a wide array of internal and external requests for program information, data, and IQ responses. Finally, this staff member assists the Division Director with special projects, procurements, research, and reports.
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
