Job summary

Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Grants Management role to monitor and report on Department grant programs. The position supports the grant lifecycle, cost allocation, and revenue management within the Office of Budget and Finance in Baltimore.

Responsibilities include maintaining grant records, preparing quarterly federal financial reports, and advising program staff on obligations and reporting requirements to maximize federal funds and service delivery to Marylanders.

Qualifications

• Five years of grant evaluation and monitoring experience.
• Substitutions for education allowed per notes.
• Ability to prepare and present budget reports and allocations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grant records and prepare quarterly federal financial reports.
• Maintain Federal receipts ledger and treasury drawdowns.
• Advise staff on grant obligations, liquidation periods, and reporting.
