Job summary

Boone Memorial Health is seeking an experienced Grants Program Manager to lead the development, administration, and compliance of our grant portfolio. You will identify funding opportunities, craft competitive proposals, and collaborate with leaders to support innovative healthcare initiatives.

Responsibilities include managing the full grant lifecycle, coordinating with Finance and departments, and ensuring timely reporting and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing and/or writing federal, state, and private foundation grants.
• Experience with grant compliance, reporting, and post‑award administration.
• Knowledge of federal grant requirements, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
• GPC or CGMS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and pursue federal, state, local, and private grant opportunities aligned with Boone Memorial Health's mission.
• Manage the complete grant lifecycle: proposal development, award administration, compliance, reporting, and closeout.
• Prepare compelling grant applications, narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with department leaders, Finance, and external partners to ensure grant requirements and deadlines are met.
• Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and compliance with funding requirements.
• Maintain organized grant records, tracking systems, and reporting calendars.
• Serve as liaison between Boone Memorial Health, funding agencies, and external grant consultants.
• Develop and improve grant administration processes and internal controls.
