Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers seeks a Grants Project Manager (Central Office/Henrico) to lead statewide grant administration for Virginia Works. You will plan, coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate grant-funded activities ensuring ETA and state compliance.

The role requires strong project management, analytical, and communication skills, with collaboration across employers, education institutions, and workforce partners. A PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of workforce development and grant administration.
• Experience with planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating grant-funded activities.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership and coordination for grant administration.
• Serve as Project Manager for planning, implementation, and evaluation of grant activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and program policies.
• Coordinate schedules, deliverables, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to advance Virginia's workforce development strategy.
