Job summary

Collier County seeks an experienced grant administrator to oversee multiple grant programs, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of milestones. The role coordinates with county offices, auditors, and partner organizations to manage scopes, budgets, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, bring related project experience, and be capable of guiding complex grant activities through closure, including contract amendments and payment processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Candidates without a degree should possess four additional years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all implementation aspects of assigned grants with county offices, grantors, auditors, and external partners.
• Prepare compliant scopes of work, schedules, deliverables, and budgets for written agreements and amendments; obtain BCC approval.
• Ensure timely and compliant grant program closure, guiding partners on pay requests and deliverables.
• Develop detailed workplans for each agreement with deadlines; meet quarterly with partners and provide guidance during program execution.
• Monitor all partners for compliance and supervise corrective action plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the grant accountant on match requirements, program income, and budget amendments.
• Process purchase orders, changes orders, and draws for reimbursement; review expenditures and invoices.
