Job summary

University of Georgia in Athens seeks a Post Award Business Manager to support post-award sponsored projects across the CVM Business Office. The role provides financial management, reporting, and process improvement support for grant expenditures and closeouts.

The successful candidate will liaise with PIs, Grants Coordinators, and SPA to ensure compliance, manage budgets, and prepare routine financial analyses and reports. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in post-award sponsorships and budgeting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for PIs, Business Managers and Grants Coordinators on post-award sponsored projects management.
• Liaison with Sponsored Projects Administration to ensure financial compliance and reporting.
• Develop and implement processes for expenditures, cost sharing and closeout of awards.
