Job summary

The role includes guidance to CVM on expenditures, cost sharing, and grant closeouts.

Responsibilities cover collaborating with financial staff, monitoring sponsored projects, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, including effort commitments and sub-awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and financial processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for PIs, Business Managers and Grants Coordinators on post-award management.
• Support Administrative Financial Director with accounting processes and data collection.
• Monitor end dates of sponsored projects and assist with closeouts.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure budgets align with award budgets and expenditures.
• Prepare financial reports and provide guidance on grant expenditures and reporting.
