Job summary

Newport Mental Health in Middletown, RI is seeking a Grants Project Administrator to oversee our grants portfolio, including grant writing, lifecycle management, and reporting. You will collaborate with the Workforce and Strategic Development team and partner with Development and Marketing to advance funding initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of grant writing experience; healthcare funding knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or Social Entrepreneurship.
  • 3+ years of grant writing and grant management experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or nonprofit funding is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of the organization's grants portfolio.
  • Manage grant lifecycle from conceptualization to submission and reporting.
  • Coordinate with staff to prepare proposals and budget documentation.
  • Maintain a library of funding sources and grant-writing resources.
  • Represent Newport Mental Health on local/regional levels when appropriate.
