The Grants Administrator is responsible for developing and managing Oceans Healthcare's enterprise grant strategy to secure external funding that supports the organization's mission, strategic priorities, and growth initiatives. This position leads the identification, development, submission, and administration of federal, state, local, and private grant opportunities while ensuring compliance with all funding requirements.

In addition to grant development, this role serves as a strategic project leader responsible for coordinating funded initiatives across the organization, monitoring project performance, measuring outcomes, and evaluating return on investment. The Grants Administrator partners with operational leaders, clinical teams, finance, compliance, quality, and executive leadership to ensure grant-funded programs achieve measurable results and align with organizational priorities.

This position plays a critical role in expanding access to behavioral healthcare services through innovative funding opportunities while promoting operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

Essential Functions:
  1. Develop and execute the organization's enterprise grant strategy in alignment with Oceans Healthcare's strategic plan.
  2. Research, identify, and evaluate grant opportunities from federal, state, local, corporate, and private foundation sources.
  3. Maintain a comprehensive grant opportunity pipeline and funding calendar.
  4. Build relationships with grant-making organizations, governmental agencies, and community partners.
  5. Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize funding opportunities based on organizational impact and strategic objectives.
  6. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting grant funding opportunities.
  7. Lead the preparation, writing, editing, and submission of competitive grant applications.
  8. Coordinate subject matter experts to develop compelling program narratives, budgets, implementation plans, and supporting documentation.
  9. Ensure all grant applications are complete, accurate, and submitted within established deadlines.
  10. Develop standardized grant writing templates and proposal processes to improve organizational efficiency; Maintain all supporting documentation required for grant submissions.
  11. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for all grant-funded initiatives.
  12. Monitor financial performance, operational outcomes, and clinical impact of funded programs.
  13. Evaluate return on investment by measuring revenue generation, cost savings, patient outcomes, community impact, and strategic value.
  14. Prepare executive dashboards and reports summarizing grant activity and organizational impact.
  15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
