Job summary

Central Ozarks Medical Center is seeking a Payroll & Grants Specialist to administer grant accounting, reporting, and compliance across local, state, and Federal regulations. The role includes coordinating payroll distributions, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and related grant data processing.

The position requires a finance/accounting degree with at least five years of experience in federal grant reporting, strong software skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting with advanced knowledge of federal grant reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and office software packages.
• Strong people skills with ability to relate to diverse groups and levels.
• Must be able to travel and have valid Missouri driver’s license.
• Excellent listening, oral and written skills; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Typing speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Grants Administration: budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial audits.
• Payroll Administration: payroll allocations.
• Compliance: grant financial reports, purchasing, HRSA site visit (grant lead).
• All other duties as requested by the CFO.
