Job summary

Central Ozarks Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Payroll & Grants Specialist to oversee grants administration, payroll distributions, and related financial processes in a regulated environment.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting, at least five years of finance experience with federal grant reporting, and strong accounting software skills, with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree viewed positively.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting with advanced knowledge of federal grant reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting and office software packages is required.
• Good people skills with ability to relate to diverse groups and levels.
• Ability to travel with own transportation and Missouri driver’s license.
• Excellent listening, oral and written skills; strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Grants Administration: budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial audits.
• Payroll Administration: payroll allocations.
• Compliance: grant financial reports, purchasing, HRSA site visit (grant lead).
• All other duties as requested by the CFO.
