Central Ozarks Medical Center seeks a Staff Accountant to manage general ledger entries, vendor transactions, monthly reconciliations, and supporting year-end close and audits. You will prepare reports, assist with budgeting, and help grant tracking and financial analysis across COMC locations.

Required: Associate degree in accounting or business and at least 4 years in healthcare accounting; strong Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency; willingness to travel to COMC locations in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting/Business required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing financial reports.
• Experience with month-end close and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and enter general ledger journal entries.
• Record vendor transactions via electronic transfers.
• Complete monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income accounts.
• Support year-end close with adjusting entries and schedules.
• Assist with annual audit documentation.
• Assist with annual budgeting and analysis.
• Analyze assigned expense accounts.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
• Support grants management with tracking.
• Perform vendor background checks.
• Audit transactions to substantiate and enforce controls.
• Assist with special projects for Controller/CFO.
• Other duties as assigned.
