Job summary

TheatreSquared is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead its comprehensive grants program and grow philanthropic support across foundations, corporate, and government funding. You will report to the Director of Development and collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and leadership to advance the theatre’s mission and sustainability.

This full-time, on-site role requires regular office presence with one remote day per week when possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of grant writing, grants management, or nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience securing foundation, corporate, and government funding.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage TheatreSquared's grants program, including strategy, proposal development, writing, submission, reporting, and stewardship.
• Prepare grants materials for private foundations, corporations, and government agencies; maintain relationships with funders.
• Support major gifts efforts by researching prospects, briefing donors, and coordinating cultivation steps.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, leadership, and Board to gather information and report impact to funders.
• Maintain grant records, schedules, budgets, and donor information in fundraising systems; ensure deadlines and compliance.
