Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound is seeking a Grants Manager in Bellevue to lead grant seeking from public and private funders. You will vet, write LOIs and proposals, and manage reporting deliverables, coordinating with the executive team to align requests with strategic priorities.

The role sits in the Community Philanthropy Team, with collaboration across philanthropy, programs, finance, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related professional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
• Experience advancing equity and serving diverse communities.
• Detail-oriented, organized self-starter with ability to multitask.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work both independently and with teams.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; adaptability with AI tools.
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends to support events.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track all steps of grants process including research, inquiry, application, stewardship and reporting.
• Research and identify potential private, corporate, city, state and federal funding sources.
• Collaborate with leadership to align grant requests with agency priorities and budgets.
• Write and submit LOIs, proposals, and required reports for funders.
• Maintain CRM and file systems; track applications and awards.
• Cultivate relationships with funders through meetings, calls, and networking.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables with leadership and program teams after awards.
• Oversee grant administration including contracts and acknowledgments.
• Maintain electronic grant files in SharePoint and CRM.
• Attend fundraising events and provide grant-related support as needed.
