Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound seeks a Grants Manager to lead grant seeking from public and private sources, prepare LOIs and proposals, and manage reporting. The role partners with the executive team to align requests with the agency’s mission and strategic plan, supporting fundraising goals across philanthropy, programs, and finance.

The Grants Manager will coordinate timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and maintain external funder relationships while working flexible hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, Political Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including synthesizing complex information.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data for varied audiences.
• Experience advancing equity/equitable practices and diverse communities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage grants process from research to reporting and renewal.
• Identify potential private, corporate, city, state, and federal sources.
• Collaborate with leadership to align grants with agency priorities and budgets.
• Write LOIs, proposals, and final reports; maintain CRM records.
• Coordinate timelines, budgets, and deliverables with programs and finance.
• Maintain funder relationships through meetings, calls, and site visits.
• Ensure compliance and proper documentation in SharePoint and CRM.
