Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in business or public administration, economics, finance, business management or accounting or related areas.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent experience in grants management or public funds.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, drawdowns and payments for grants, purchase orders, contracts and travel reimbursements.
• Administer the state development grant program for brick-and-mortar preservation projects.
• Solicit, review, approve, contract and reimburse grant awards; monitor grant activities.
• Prepare requests for proposals, grant applications and end-of-year reports.
• Travel as needed for conferences and site visits and provide technical assistance.
