Job summary

Goodwill of Southern California is seeking a Grants Manager to support the Senior Director of Grant Funding, manage public and private grant portfolios, and ensure timely submissions and compliant reporting.

You’ll coordinate proposals, maintain a grants calendar, gather narratives and budgets, and collaborate across program, finance, and leadership teams to steward funders and drive impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience, grants cultivation/solicitation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook skills.
• Non-profit experience; ability to travel locally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Supports development, submission, and stewardship of grant funding initiatives.
• Maintains grants calendar and tracking system.
• Coordinates complete proposal packets and funder communications.
• Ensures timely reporting by gathering programmatic and financial data.
