Job summary

Goodwill SoCal, Los Angeles Campus, is hiring a Grants Manager to support the Senior Director of Grant Funding in managing public and private grant portfolios, coordinating proposals, and ensuring compliance. You will maintain a grants calendar, assemble proposal packets, track outcomes, report to funders, and collaborate across program, finance, and leadership teams.

Minimum 3 years fundraising experience and a related degree are required, with strong written communications and Salesforce

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience; grants cultivation/solicitation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong ability to work well with a team.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Non-profit experience; knowledge working with people with disabilities helpful.
• Background checks including LiveScan, education and employment verification, and MVR.
• Local travel up to 25%; CA driver’s license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Supports development, submission, and stewardship of grant funding initiatives.
• Maintains a comprehensive grants calendar and tracking system.
• Assembles and submits complete proposal packets meeting funder requirements.
• Manages grant stewardship and funder communications with updates.
• Provides cross-departmental coordination for grant development and management.
• Conducts grant prospect research and summarizes new funding opportunities.
• Manages grant records and legal documentation; ensures timely reporting.
