Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a 988 Grant Specialist within the Behavioral Health Administration to manage federal and state grants for the 988 Mental Health Line. You will oversee budgets, reporting, compliance, and coordinate with partners to expand crisis services.

The role drives grant development, tracks expenditures, and supports audits while pursuing new funding opportunities and community micro grants across Colorado. Hybrid work eligible.

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant grant experience or a combination of related education and experience.
• Experience with SAMHSA grant regulations and budget reporting is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal grant requirements and fiscal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage fiscal administration and compliance for the 988 Enterprise grants.
• Coordinate grant deliverables, expenditures, and invoicing to fund crisis services.
• Develop and pursue new grant opportunities aligning with strategic priorities.
• Design and administer community micro grant programs for outreach.
