Job summary

Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting seeks a Grants Management Training Specialist in Phoenix. The role focuses on foundational grants management training and transitioning to an enterprise Grants Management System (GMS).

You will develop courses, onboard agency staff, and improve statewide grant practices. The position emphasizes instructional design, engaging delivery, and collaboration with the GFRT Training Team to support diverse staff nationwide.

Qualifications

• Masters in a field related to training, education, or public administration.
• 3+ years in training, education, or related area; or 5+ years in training/education.
• Experience with course development, learning management systems, and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the GFR Training Team to support statewide grants community.
• Design and deliver training using in-person, online, and virtual formats.
• Develop onboarding materials and assess training effectiveness.
