Job summary

The DC Bar Foundation is seeking a Grants Database Manager to lead the Grants Management System (GMS) and align operations with best practices and DCBF standards. You will oversee data lifecycle, dashboards and reporting to demonstrate impact of investments, working closely with grantee partners and staff.

The role emphasizes data quality, continuous improvement, and cross-team collaboration in a small nonprofit setting, with responsibility for vendor relationships and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce: custom modules, workflow configuration, reporting and admin.
• Ability to query, report, analyze data and build dashboards for stakeholders.
• Experience translating data insights into accessible information for non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, deduplication, and data integrity protocols.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system owner for the Grants Management System (GMS) with vendor management and quality oversight.
• Set up, manage, and establish GMS protocols including training Programs Team and Grantee Partners.
• Handle software-related activities: programming, workflow configuration, data management, analysis and reporting.
• Manage integrations with DocuSign, FormAssembly, Tableau.
• Provide GMS support across grant lifecycle: applications, reviews, awards, adjustments, invoices, reports.
• Create dashboards, ad hoc reports, mappings and visualizations for internal/external stakeholders.
• Organize files and prepare presentation materials; data entry and general operational support.
• Ensure data integrity per legal and regulatory requirements and DCBF processes.
• Keep abreast of Salesforce features and integrations to improve processes.
