Job summary

The DC Bar Foundation in Washington, DC seeks a Grants Database Manager to own the Grants Management System (GMS) and drive data-driven grant lifecycle improvements. You will lead data practices, build dashboards, and support grantee partnerships within a collaborative nonprofit environment.

Ideal candidates bring Salesforce expertise, data analysis, and a passion for continuous improvement while working in a small-office, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit grantmaking and grant lifecycle.
• Knowledge of grantmaking processes with multiple applicants.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least four years of progressive relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system owner for the Grants Management System (GMS) and oversee vendor management and quality control.
• Configure GMS protocols, train Programs Team, and support Grantee Partners.
• Handle software activities: programming, workflows, data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Manage integrations with DocuSign, Form Assembly, and Tableau.
• Support grant rounds: applications, audits, reviews, grants, invoices, and reporting.
• Create dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain data integrity and support data cleanup and deduplication.
• Keep data privacy, security, and compliance front and center.
