Human Options is seeking an experienced Grants Coordinator to own the day-to-day management of a portfolio of institutional funders in Irvine, CA. You will drive all phases from prospecting through renewal, coordinating across departments to meet deadlines and reporting expectations.

The role requires exceptional writing and communication skills, 3+ years in grant-writing, and proficiency with tools like Raiser’s Edge and Instrumentl.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience required.
• Three years of grant-writing experience across government, private foundations and corporate funders preferred.
• Familiarity with domestic violence programs is a plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
• One to two years of demonstrated project-management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge (CRM).
• Ability to collaborate across staff and synthesize information for the organization.
• Knowledge of grant databases such as Instrumentl.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data entry/report generation.
• Complete the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification post-hire.

• Own day-to-day management of institutional funders and grants across the lifecycle.

• Identify barriers, escalate risks, and support timely resolutions.
• Monitor grant goals and reporting with program and leadership teams.

• Lead content development for funder-facing documents and communications.

• Ensure grant compliance and maintain thorough records.
